Lots of Tottenham Hotspur have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the latest claim to emerge regarding their club.

According to Calciomercato, the north London side are showing some interest in potentially bringing to the club from Paris Saint-Germain.

Would you like to see Icardi sign?

The report suggests the Argentine striker could leave the Ligue 1 side at the end of the month, but Spurs could face competition for the 28-year-old – with Juventus also said to be interested.

Icardi still has a number of years left on his contract with PSG, with his current deal ending in 2024, having joined permanently from Inter last summer (via Transfermarkt).

Spurs flocked to the tweet from TranSPURS relaying the claim from Italy as they shared their opposition to the idea of signing Icardi.

What did these Spurs have to say?

“I feel sick”

“Please tell me this isn’t reliable”
“No no no no”
“Oh god no”
“So many better targets”

The Argentine has only started half of their eight games in Ligue 1 this season, with the 28-year-old having found the net on three occasions this campaign (via Transfermarkt).

Despite scoring 201 goals at club level across his career, it seems these Spurs would prefer their club to turn their attention to other targets at striker for the upcoming windows.
