Plenty of Newcastle fans were left buzzing after links with Wolves captain and England international Conor Coady emerged.
According to Alan Nixon of The Sun, Newcastle have put the Wolves skipper Coady on their wanted list.
Coady is a huge favourite of leading Toon advisor Frank McParland, who is due to take a senior role at the club.
McParland worked with Coady at Liverpool when he was coming through the ranks and is reportedly an admirer.
