Newcastle United were taken over in a deal worth £300m according to the Telegraph, with the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund acquiring an 80 per cent controlling stake and the Reuben brothers and Amanda Staveley gaining 10 per cent each.

Since the new owners’ arrival to the football club, there have plenty of names linked with moves to St James’ Park, with Spanish outlet Sport (via Football.London) reporting that the Magpies are reportedly interested in signing Alli from Tottenham Hotspur.
