Newcastle United fans have taken Twitter to react to Dylan Stephenson’s latest goal for the U23s, and have urged for him to finally make the first-team.
The 18-year-old has been on fire this season at Premier League 2 level, and yesterday against Middlesbrough, made it seven goals in seven games for the Magpies.
The U23s came away as 4-1 victors over Boro, and Stephenson was once again at the heart of an impressive performance.
It was a display that had Magpies fans urging for Steve Bruce to bring him into the first-team fold – he’s yet to make his senior debut – with a couple even calling for him to make the trip against Wolves in the Premier League later today.

Given the lack of excitement at first-team level, it’s no surprise that Newcastle fans are clamouring for Stephenson to make his senior debut for the Magpies.
With Callum Wilson struggling with injuries since his arrival at St James’ Park from Bournemouth back in the summer of 2020, the Toon Army could do with another genuine goal-scoring presence up front.
While Stephenson may only be 18, he’s certainly showing at Premier League 2 level that he’s got that finisher’s instinct.
