A whole host of Leeds United fans are delighted on Twitter to see Mateusz Klich’s heatmap against Watford.

Leeds managed to pick up their first league win of the season after brushing aside Watford to pick up a 1-0 victory, which ultimately led to Xisco Munoz being relieved of his duties at Vicarage Road, as Leeds jumped up to 16th in the Premier League and three points clear of the bottom three.

Is Klich Leeds' best midfielder?

No!

Klich was deployed in the centre of midfield alongside Stuart Dallas, but it was the Poland international that stood out with the club’s Twitter account sharing an image of his heatmap which showed how he covered so much ground across the pitch against Watford.

A lot of Leeds fans are delighted on Twitter to see Klich performing well and covering so much ground.

What have these Leeds fans been saying?

“Has looked jaded since covid but Saturday getting back to his best long may it continue!”

@graytelematics

“Definitely looks as though he’s getting back to his best! So vital for us Saturday”

@JasonAppleyard

“you probably seen this but I told you he was boss on Saturday, everywhere”

@FinnRoberts17

“Had an amazing game. Top drawer”

@petelovesleeds

“Energy was insane from him and Dallas”

@JP08895303

“On top form yesterday, faultless. But what was he doing in our RH corner?”

Klich was signed the summer before Marcelo Bielsa joined Leeds and was on loan in the second half of that campaign, however, since the 2018/19 campaign, Klich has featured heavily at Elland Road, only costing the club £1.5 million.

It was a much-needed win for Leeds but in reality, it should have been a lot more convincing, as they finished the game with an expected goals ratio of 1.9, but had to rely on a single goal from Diego Llorente.
