Leeds United fans have discussed Stuart Dallas’ performance after their side’s 1-0 victory over Watford in the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side registered their first win of the new top-flight season thanks to a goal in the first-half from returning centre-half Diego Llorente.

Are you worried about Stuart Dallas?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

While Leeds fans were quick to hail the likes of Dan James for his display, Dallas did come in for some criticism, amid suggestions that he hasn’t looked like himself to start this season.

What did Leeds United fans make of Stuart Dallas?

“Couldn’t agree more to be honest, some of these players have been full on for over 3 years now which will take it’s toll eventually. I am a bit worried for Dallas, hasn’t seemed himself especially since he withdrew from NI for personal reasons & I hope everythings okay with him”

@jakefoggitt

“Dallas is now a passenger. Get Gelhardt on!!”

@dbauer191

“A lot of it us driven by fear within the support, abetted by some well below par performances in comparison to last term. So adding in some fairly alarming performances by Fripo, key players like Dallas nowhere near what we need, mounting injuries and fans start to panic.”

@Allcheese1

“Dallas and Klich’s shooting has been awful”

@ankitraj1602

“The decision making from Dallas this season has been awful.”

@ross_pearce

“how many shots has Dallas had”

@andysallwhite

Either through personal reasons or simply the fact that he’s played so much football over the past few years under Bielsa, Dallas hasn’t been at his absolute best just yet for Leeds.

The Northern Irishman was one of the stars of the show for the Whites in their return back to the top-flight last season, scoring eight times in the Premier League alone, as well as chipping in with two assists too.

This time around has seen the 30-year-old fail to hit the back of the net once in all competitions, while he’s only managed the one assist to his name as well.

The fact he’s been used in multiple different positions already, including left-back, right-back and central midfield, probably hasn’t helped in terms of getting his consistency or rhythm back either.

The upcoming international break might be what Dallas needs to just take his focus away from Leeds, rejuvenate and just come back stronger.

In other news, Leeds United have hailed this star as the “best player on the pitch” yesterday…
