Brazil manager Tite has revealed that he spoke personally with Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa about Leeds United ace Raphinha following his excellent displays for national side Brazil
The Selecao star was sensational in Brazil’s 4-1 World Cup qualifying fixture against Uruguay, netting twice on his full debut to earn their 10th victory in 11 matches on their quest for World Cup qualification.
Having featured off the bench twice already during this international break, this was the 24-year-old’s first-ever start for his nation – and it’s fair to say he impressed.
Brazil head coach Tite has since hailed the impact of Marcelo Bielsa after the Leeds winger electric display on his full international debut, expressed his gratitude to the Argentine for the work he has done with the 24-year-old.
Tite said: “I publicly thank Bielsa for accompanying and working with Raphinha and all the coaching staff that brought him closer to the national team.
“I spoke personally with Bielsa, and I thank him for that support with him.”

Indeed, in his first season with the club last campaign, he managed six goals and nine assists in 30 Premier League games after his arrival at Elland Road from French outfit Rennes – quickly establishing made him a fan favourite in Yorkshire.
After his string of superb International performances, it certainly looks as if the 24-year-old is destined to make it to the top, both at club level and on the International stage.
