Leeds United fans have been reacting to news that has come out about Raphinha following his work on international duty with Brazil.
The 24-year-old has made a decent start to the season at Elland Road, scoring three goals so far, including two in his last three games for his club – to go with his six goals and nine assists that he had for Marcelo Bielsa’s side last season.
Those numbers clearly impressed people within his national side’s setup, as he made his first two appearances for the Brazil side during their most recent round of international games, where he was able to carry on his impressive form, picking up two assists on his debut against Venezuela.
For his efforts, EA Sports and the FIFA game series decided to honour him by making him a part of their FIFA Team Of The Week.
This news was relayed to Leeds United fans via the club’s Twitter account, where there were plenty of fans on hand to share how excited they were for him for his achievement:
“Best winger outside the big 6”
Will Raphinha still be at Leeds next season?
Yes
No
Having only won one of their games so far in the league this season, Leeds United will be needing him to carry on that form when he gets back to Elland Road if they are to start climbing up the table.
