And it was confirmed by the Argentine that he would be without Patrick Bamford for the game at St. Mary’s, though Kalvin Phillips has a chance of playing after suffering from a calf issue.

Leeds fans flooded to Phil Hay’s tweet during the press conference as they shared their emotions regarding the latest injury update from Bielsa.

What did these Leeds fans have to say?

“This Bamford injury is starting to worry me….”

“Well done radz for our amazing squad depth”
“More concerned about KP. Rodrigo can fill in for Paddy and Rapha can come off the bench if we need him.”

Bamford has been out for a number of weeks now after suffering an ankle injury in the game against Newcastle United, while Phillips was forced to withdraw from the England squad just last week.

With Bamford now set to miss his third consecutive league game, it is apparent these fans are beginning to grow in concern over this becoming a long-term issue for the English striker.
