Leeds United fans have been waxing lyrical after footage emerged of goalkeeper’s Illan Meslier superb skill during their 1-1 draw against Wolves on Saturday
The 21-year old, who has been Marcelo Bielsa’s first choice No.1 at Elland Road since the 2019-20 campaign, was beaten by Wolves’ Hwang Hee-chan in the 10th minute to open the scoring for the Midlands side during the encounter on Saturday.
However, footage has emerged of the French U-21 international coolly wrong-footing pressing Wolves striker Raul Jimenez after receiving a back-pass from captain Liam Cooper, with Leeds fans also berating the Mexican striker who theatrically threw himself to the ground after Meslier wrong-footed him.
