Former Leeds United player David Norris believes that some of the Whites fanbase are frustrated at a lack of a plan B on the pitch.

After a successful season last campaign which saw Leeds finish ninth in the Premier League table, the club have started this campaign picking up six points from their opening seven games and find themselves 16th in the table.

They picked up their first victory of the season in their last game prior to the international break against Watford, but Norris believes that there is still a bit of frustration amongst some supporters because of a lack of a plan B.

“I think that’s a big thing and from fans I’ve spoken to, I think one of the things that’s irritating them at the minute is they don’t have a plan B and/or Bielsa’s stubbornness to change and just wants to keep knocking at the door of what he believes in and what he wants to do. I think that is definitely a big issue at the minute. There is no different way of going about things.

“It’s this is the way we’re going to do it, this is the way we are going play, this is how we’re going to go about things and we’re going to stick with it, when you know sometimes it’s not about that, especially when you need to dig out a result, you know it might about we need to stop conceding and get a result here,” Norris told This is Futbol.

Last season only one point separated Leeds’ home and away form, with the club picking up 29 points at Elland Road and 30 points on the road, as well as ending the campaign in fine form winning four of their last five matches in the Premier League.

After a tough start to this term, after the international break, Leeds face Southampton, Wolves, Norwich and Leicester in their next four games, all of whom currently occupy places in the table near to Leeds, so you would imagine that they will be looking to get their season on track in that run of fixtures.
