Plenty of West Bromwich Albion fans have been left delighted after seeing some footage of Jayson Molumby emerge online.
Over the weekend, the Baggies claimed a narrow 1-0 win over Birmingham City in the Championship. A goal in the 75th minute from Karlan Grant was ultimately enough to seal all three points for the home side.
After the game, the club’s official Twitter page shared an appreciation post for Molumby, who came off the bench just after the hour mark with the scores still level.
The clip showed him battling to win a ball back having just dribbled past a number of players. The tweet was also accompanied by the words: “Tenacious. Willing. Energetic. Composed.”
Many West Brom supporters had similarly positive things to say about the midfielder.
Here’s what these WBA fans had to say…
“Very impressed with his cameo performance last night. Both him & Mowatt are both the type of players our midfield has been crying out for, for a long time now. Excellent, Jay – long may it continue.”
“Game changer for sure.”
West Brom signed the Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder on a season-long loan, with a view to a permanent deal, towards the end of August.

To this point, he has only appeared three times for his new club – each time off the bench, totalling just 47 minutes. Even so, it seems as though he has already begun to impress a notable section of the Baggies’ fanbase.
