A whole host of West Brom fans on Twitter are furious with Valerien Ismael’s comments following their defeat to Swansea City.

Life under Ismael began very rosy and looked to be a match made in heaven, with the Baggies going unbeaten in their first 10 league matches, which included four wins from their opening five Championship fixtures, but results have certainly turned for the worse.

Will West Brom win the Championship?

No!

No!

Yes!

Yes!

The international break appears to have done nothing to help the Baggies, as they lost their first game of the season prior to it against Stoke City, and after scraping past Birmingham City last week, they slumped to a 2-1 defeat away to Swansea on Wednesday evening.

This led to Ismael saying: ‘We controlled a lot of situations in the first half. We had a lot of possession and we forced a lot of long balls‘ – something that hasn’t gone down too well.

A lot of West Brom fans are very angry on Twitter with Ismael’s latest comments.

What have these West Brom fans been saying?

“He said we had a lot of possession in the first half. 30% isn’t a lot is it. He is just talking rubbish to be honest.”

@NickConwayIA

“When will the board realise that he’s the problem”

@BaggiesTom1

“This is interview is concerning, not sure he was watching the same game the rest of us were.”

@ItsSamson2

“has no plan B, you can’t play that tripe football and just bring your subs on like for like when it’s cleary not working. It’s painful to watch, it’s rubbish!”

@eLedwba1

“We were clueless especially in the second half. Struggled to pass a ball”

@josephsdad07

“This is a very worrying interview”

@Aaron2wba

West Brom now find themselves six points behind unbeaten Bournemouth in the Championship and outside the automatic promotion spots having seen Fulham leapfrog them in midweek.

To kick off this quiz on West Bromwich Albion's 2019/20 season, how many points did the Baggies end the 2019/20 Championship campaign with?

If Ismael can’t manage to turn results around, then his time as West Brom boss may not last long if the replies to his latest comments are anything to go by.
