Blades fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the claims to emerge from the Italian outlet regarding the previously linked Spanish ace.
What did these Sheffield United fans have to say?
“Sounds like we’ve got a chance”
As a result of the transfer speculation surrounding the winger, Barcelona did not register him for any of their squads, meaning he is unable to play until January’s registration period.
Although the Blades are expected to face competition from one of Europe’s powerhouses, it seems these fans are optimistic about their chances of signing the 22-year-old.
