Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to the performance of Max Lowe in their Championship game against Queens Park Rangers.

Having been on something of a hot streak recently, Steve Cooper’s men came into the game off the back of a rather humbling loss at home to Fulham last weekend and would have been looking to bounce back and get back to winning ways against the West London side.

Do you know the record signing for these Championship sides? Let's see if you do, starting with Fulham

One player though who didn’t manage to cover himself in glory during the game was the 24 year-old Lowe, who played a major role in gifting the home side the opening goal on the night, as he lost Lyndon Dykes following a cross and left him to score with a free header at the back post.

That, as well as his overall performance, left Nottingham Forest fans with plenty to say about him on social media as they tore into his performance:

“The left-hand side has been nullified by the brilliance of Albert Adomah. Max lowe buried in his pocket. Can’t get past him. Can’t keep him in front of him without fouling….. he’s found it tough against him. Big second half to come”

“Awful defending at the back post”
“Lowe gotta learn to mark the back post, was terrible at it for the sheep”
“Max Lowe hasn’t covered himself in glory there”
“Max Lowe caught ball watching”
“I think I might the only person who doesn’t really rate Max Lowe (aka the ball watcher). I do wish we had a viable alternative at left back other than Gaetan Bong”
“Absolute 0/10 from Max Lowe this evening”

There isn’t a lot of competition for places at left-back in the Forest side, but with Gaetan Bong waiting in the wings to take his place, Lowe is going to have to up his game to make sure he keeps his place in the side moving forward.
