Many Nottingham Forest fans have shown their appreciation for new manager Steve Cooper after he was filmed meeting with fans and answering their questions.
After a horrible start to the season, things are finally starting to look up for Forest. Former manager Chris Hughton was sacked after six defeats in seven matches, which led to Cooper being appointed.
A draw against Millwall in his first game in charge was followed up by wins against Barnsley and Birmingham City.
The new head coach recently met with a cross-section of supporters to discuss a range of topics. The club’s official Twitter account shared some of the footage and it went down well with a number of fans.
What did these Forest fans have to say?
‘Brilliant. Love to see it. Can’t wait for the next game. Long may the form and the feeling continue.”
It certainly seems as if Cooper said the right things. Though after the start he has made, he probably can’t say an awful lot wrong at the moment – at least in the minds of these Forest supporters.
The recent upturn in results now means that the Championship side have risen to 17th spot in the league, with 11 points after 11 games.
Will Steve Cooper have Forest pushing for the play-offs by next season?
Yes
No
Things are certainly looking good right now for Cooper and his new club.
