Tottenham Hotspur fans have slammed the display of Pierluigi Gollini in their Thursday night game against Stade Rennais in the newly-formed Europa Conference League.
The Italian goalkeeper made his third start of the season with the previous two coming in the qualification games to earn their spot in Europe’s third-tier competition.

Gollini joined Spurs on an initial loan deal earlier in the summer from Serie A side Atalanta, however, there is an option to purchase the 26-year-old permanently in the deal.
Fans flooded to Twitter to share their annoyance with the Italian shot-stopper for his display at Roazhon Park on Thursday night which saw the Londoners share the points.

“Gollini is finished”
The goalkeeper found himself picking the ball out of the back of his net twice on Thursday night with many blaming him for Stade Rennais’ second of the evening.
Gollini was unable to parry an initial shot away from danger with Gaetan Laborde poking the rebound home to put the home side in front.
Spurs walked away from France with a point in the end but it seems Gollini has not made a great early impression with these fans who were left frustrated by his display on Thursday.
