Lots of Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to vent their rage with the performance of Jamaal Lascelles in the first half of their Premier League clash against Leeds United.
The visitors from Elland Road took the lead early on in the game after Raphinha’s cross beat Karl Darlow to find the back of the net.

However, the English centre-back was unable to clear the Brazilian’s cross before the ball travelled beyond the reach of the 30-year-old goalkeeper.

The game on Friday night against Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites was the centre-back’s fourth appearance in the Premier League of the 2021/22 campaign having sat on the bench against West Ham United (via Transfermarkt).
With the Toon going into the game without a win in the league, it was clear to see these fans were furious with the manner of the opening goal and the role Lascelles had to play in it.
