Lots of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to slam the performance of David Turnbull in their game against Livingston on Sunday afternoon. 

The 22-year-old made his sixth appearance of the season for the Bhoys in the Scottish Premiership as Ange Postecoglou’s side fell to a 1-0 defeat against Livingston (via Transfermarkt).

Defeat against David Martindale’s side was Celtic’s third loss of the season in the league which saw the Hoops slip down to sixth in the table.

Following the defeat, Celtic fans flooded to Twitter to share their fury with the performance of the midfielder who played all 90 minutes of the game on Sunday.

Turnbull also played the full 90 minutes on Thursday night in their Europa League defeat against Real Betis despite having taken an early 2-0 lead in Spain.

On the back of their second defeat in a matter of days, it is apparent these fans were left far from impressed with the showing from their 22-year-old midfielder.
