Taking into account how The Scotsman gave the defender an overall match rating of 5/10 for his display against the Spanish club, saying that he “didn’t look comfortable on occasion and his lack of communication led to the set-piece for Betis’ fourth,” it’s easy to see why these fans on Twitter were not happy.

Moving forward, it seems as though the 26-year-old has a lot of work to do if he wants to convince these fans he’s capable of paying for the club on a consistent basis.
