A whole host of Celtic fans are gutted on Twitter following Ange Postecoglou’s latest comments regarding injuries.

Celtic are now winless in their previous two SPFL fixtures, losing 1-0 against Livingston before only managing a 1-1 draw against Dundee United at home and this now sees them six points off the top of the league table.

Will Celtic win a trophy this season?

Yes!

No!

The Bhoys’ focus now turns away from their poor league form and to the Europa League, where they are winless after one game and are gearing up to welcome Bayer Leverkusen to Glasgow, but Ange has confirmed that right back Josip Juranovic is set to miss a couple of weeks due to a hamstring injury, while Callum McGregor and Kyogo Furuhashi will also not be available.

A lot of Celtic fans are devastated on Twitter with the latest news Ange has delivered.

What have these Celtic fans been saying?

“No luck at all”

@steo_kelly89

“I understand the importance of reasonable criticism of Ange based on mistakes he’s made but we are suffering from truly abysmal luck made worse due to the paper thin state the board have left our squad in.”

@AJC__67

“We are finished”

@scott_rodgers67

“Never seen anything like it regarding injuries, 9 injuries in a small squad is exactly the nightmare we were dreading”

@berrier7

“Bad news upon bad news”

@quadtreblechamp

“Horrendous… dropping like flies.”

Celtic’s opening game of the group stages was away to Real Betis and despite taking a 2-0 lead in Spain, the La Liga outfit came back strongly and swept the Hoops aside to pick up an exciting 4-3 victory, putting more pressure on the Bhoys to take a positive result against Bundesliga side Leverkusen.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

The German side will certainly prove to be a difficult test for Ange’s boys, potentially more so than Betis were with Leverkusen currently sitting second in the league – only behind Bayern Munich – and have lost just once this season, which was a 4-3 defeat at home to Borussia Dortmund.
