A whole host of Celtic fans are buzzing on Twitter following Liam Scales’ interview with the club.
Scales was signed by Celtic from Shamrock Rovers, with the 23-year-old costing the Scottish side just over £500,000, adding some depth at the centre-back position for Ange Postecoglou.
The reason why many Celtic fans are delighted with Liam Scales follows his comments in a recent interview with Celtic TV, in which he said that ‘it’s a great time for Celtic‘ when speaking about the new manager and other new signings.

Celtic managed to wrap up a raft of new signings across the summer transfer window, which saw them bring in former Premier League players such as Joe Hart and James McCarthy, as well as the Eredivisie’s top scorer from last season in Giorgos Giakoumakis.
Scales arrives at Celtic having never played outside of his native Ireland, but he does join the Bhoys having racked up 51 appearances for his former side Shamrock Rovers and in that time he managed to win the league title in 2019/20.
