Celtic fans have been reacting to news that the club were able to complete the signing of Cameron Carter-Vickers on deadline day.
The Hoops have certainly been incredibly busy this summer, bringing in a whole host of players, with new manager Ange Postecoglou certainly putting his foot down in trying to create the team in his own image as he begins his career at Celtic Park.
Those signings were being made right up until the deadline, with the club announcing just before midnight that they had signed the American defender on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur with the option to buy at the end of it.
The news was relayed to fans by the club’s Twitter page for them to react to, and it seems as though they were over the moon to see the deal get made:
“Didn’t think this would actually happen. Nice job”

The 23-year-old has spent a lot of his career on loan, so hopefully he’ll be able to perform well at Celtic Park and earn himself a permanent move rather than face the prospect of having to find a new club this time next year.
