Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the performance of young Maksim Paskotši during Estonia’s game against Wales.

Estonia picked up their first point of the qualifying campaign down in Cardiff, holding Robert Page’s side, which included a couple of Premier League players in the line-up, to a 0-0 draw. And part of that was down to the role that the 18-year-old played in keeping the Welsh attack at bay during the game.

According to stats gathered by @thespursweb, the young Paskotši certainly made it difficult for the Welsh attackers on the night, making three clearances, nine recoveries, winning six duels and making one tackle before eventually being taken off in the final few minutes.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

And when these stats were shown to Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media, many of them were left rather impressed:

“If he fills out his frame and increases his passing range, he has all the tools to become elite. Hope the injury doesn’t keep him off the pitch for too long, looked pretty bad tho.” – “It was cramp from what I read. This guy looks a great prospect along with Scarlet and Devine”

“Great!”
“Literally is generational. Probably best ever talent to come out of our country”
“King”
“He’s maturing very nicely…”
“Very good defender on our hands.”
“Hopefully, he will get some chances in the Conference”

Will Tottenham Hotspur make top four this season?

The 18-year-old is still very much on the fringes of the Spurs team, only making one cameo appearance in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds, but after a performance like this, he might get a chance to earn more minutes at some point in the near future.
