Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been sharing their reaction to recently emerged footage on Lilywhites attacker Heung-min Son during the club’s recent 3-1 defeat against Arsenal.
This comes after Tottenham-focused Twitter account @TranSPURS shared a post on its page that contained footage of Son being vocal towards his teammates and trying to motivate them after scoring Tottenham’s late consolation goal at the Emirates Stadium.
This post then quickly grabbed the attention of a number of Tottenham supporters who were not shy in airing their thoughts on what they saw.
So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to the footage of Son?
“Give him the armband”
“That should be Kane”
“The only good thing about Spurs atm…”
“This is what we need”
“Always gives 100%”
“What a guy”
“Bout the only one who tried”
Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that this group of Spurs fans were very pleased by what they saw from Son trying his best to motivate the rest of the Spurs players on the pitch after he managed to pull a goal back in their defeat at Arsenal, with some even suggesting that he should be the captain of the team moving forward.
Do you think Son should be Tottenham's captain?
Taking into account how Son has scored three out of the four Premier League goals that Spurs have managed to score so far in this current campaign and the fact that he is currently listed as Tottenham’s highest-rated player with an overall performance rating of 7.12/10 according to WhoScored, it’s easy to see why these fans think so highly of him.
