A whole host of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to Twitter to blast Nuno Espirito Santo’s latest comments.
It was a disappointing start to Tottenham’s Europa Conference League campaign as they travelled away to Rennes and could only manage a 2-2 draw thanks to a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg equaliser in the second half.

Spurs did take the lead early in the first half when Steven Bergwijn’s cross was deflected past Rennes’ keeper Romain Salin but it all went downhill from there, with Bergwijn and Lucas Moura going off injured during the first 45 minutes to add to the bad result, which led to Nuno claiming he is ‘worried‘ about the situation.
A lot of Spurs fans appeared to be unhappy when the club’s official account tweeted out Nuno’s quotes:

Everything appeared to be going very well for Spurs as they stormed to three wins from a possible three at the start of the Premier League season but following a whole host of injuries and players being absent because of international duty, things have unravelled of late with Spurs conceding five goals in their last two games.
Things do not get any easier for Nuno and Tottenham with two of their regulars this season Bergwijn and Moura set to miss this weekend’s derby match against Chelsea, who are still yet to taste defeat in any competition and have conceded just one goal in the league.
