On Thursday evening against Rennes, which saw Spurs succumb to a 2-2 draw in their opening match in the Europa Conference League, one slight positive from Kane’s point of view was that he has now made the most appearances in Europe of anyone in the club’s history, but following a poor result, it hasn’t gone down well with Tottenham fans.

Kane tweeted about his accomplishment, but it appears to have not gone down well with a certain section of the supporters:

What have Tottenham fans been saying?

“Mate sorry to mention that I am slowly lossing my hope and faith on you. Could you please step up. Always lost in big games..”

“Maybe start looking interested then.”

@buggyyyyyy

“Loads to improve, there’s an understatement”

@cabbie_ldn

“Doesn’t want to be there! Awful”

“Absolutely rubbish performance”

@Mrixelles

Kane is still yet to get off the mark in the Premier League having featured in three of the four opening matches and Spurs fans will be hoping that he can find the form that saw him smash in 23 goals and register 14 assists in the league last campaign.
