A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted with delight online after seeing footage of Harry Kane’s latest strike for England.
The Spurs captain grabbed the Three Lions’ only goal of the game as they battled to a 1-1 draw with Poland in their latest World Cup qualifying match.
With the deadlock yet to be broken, Kane took it upon himself to change the game in the 72nd minute. He picked up the ball about 25 yards out and hit it with great venom. The effort swerved and then dipped into the bottom corner of Wojciech Szczesny’s goal.
Unfortunately for England and their captain, the Three Lions could not hold onto the lead as a late equaliser from Damian Szymanski saw both teams have to settle for a draw.
England’s official Twitter account shared a clip of Kane’s goal and it soon drew great praise from many Spurs supporters.

Not only was it an excellent goal, but it was also a strike that moves Kane out on his own as his nation’s fifth-highest men’s goalscorer of all time.

With 41 international strikes to his name, it’s more than likely the Spurs man will soon be overtaking Wayne Rooney – who has 53 goals – as the Three Lions all-time top scorer.
