Gabriel Agbonlahor has been speaking on how Harry Kane looked during the 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on TalkSport.

It was only the second Premier League game that Kane had started all season and it was a successive blank in front of goal following his participation in their 1-0 win at home to Watford, which will be both frustrating and concerning for player and manager.

Will Tottenham finish in the top six this season?

What will be more of a worry for everyone involved at Spurs as the striker failed to register a touch or shot in the box over 90 minutes for the first time in his Premier League career and given the Eagles hadn’t won all season, it will certainly not have pleased Kane how the game and his performance went.

Agbonlahor spoke about how Kane looked and appeared during the Palace defeat.

(7:30) “I’m a big believer in body language and I was looking at him and he looked very fed up. He’s probably thinking to himself, I just wish that move had gone through because he just looked like he was frustrated today.

“Spurs, they do this all the time to there to their fan base, they get them excited and then let them down and I think it’s going to be one of them seasons again.”

TIF Thoughts on Kane…

With Kane still yet to get off the mark this season in the league despite having played 90 minutes against both Watford and Crystal Palace, he appears to be a million miles away from the striker that registered the most goals and assists in the Premier League last season.

Spurs have had quite a few odd players over the years, but can you remember them? Here is the first one, who is this former Tottenham man?

It could be a different kind of Kane we see if Nuno Espirito Santo abandons the four-three-three formation as it has only brought about 1-0 victories and a 3-0 defeat thus far, so it doesn’t appear to be the most attacking considering they have only had the fifth-fewest shots in the league.
