In the press conference, Bruce said that Joe Willock had picked up an injury in training, while Jamaal Lascelles hurt his thigh during their 1-1 draw against Leeds United, and the duo will therefore not be available to play against Watford.

This post then grabbed the attention of lots of Toon supporters, who were not shy in sharing their displeasure at the news.

So, what did these Newcastle fans have to say in response to this update from Bruce?

“Nooooooooooo”

“Bruce’s fitness staff are a joke. Every club he’s at there is injury after injury”
