A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to voice their absolute disgust at the latest news to emerge regarding some of their upcoming Premier League games.

It was announced on Wednesday afternoon that the Magpies’ away trips to Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal had both been rescheduled for television coverage.

Are you worried NUFC will be relegated this season?

The game at the Amex Stadium will now be played on Saturday 6th November at 5.30pm, while the trip to the Emirates Stadium will take place on Saturday 27th November at 12.30pm.

Newcastle fans flocked to the announcement from the official club Twitter account as they vented their fury with the decision to rearrange the two fixtures for TV coverage.

What exactly did these Toon fans have to say?

“This is an absolute joke, football for the fans, yeah?”

“Another kick in the teeth for away fans”
“Cheers lads, travelling fans put in the bin as usual”
“Unbelievable but it comes natural as a fan, you are at the bottom of the pile when it comes to stuff like this….”
Football Is For The Fans, is it? Not away fans, apparently. One* train from Brighton back to Newcastle after the game finishes or a near-six-hour drive. Embarrassing from @btsport/@btsportfootball  *A 13-hour trip with an eight-hour layover at Leeds”
“First the lateness in announcing these selections now this. Football for the fans when their precious six were about to jump ship tho”

Steve Bruce’s side are still in the hunt for their first victory in the Premier League this season after their search for three points was extended last Friday after their 1-1 draw against Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United.

The trips to both Brighton and Arsenal are some of the longest the Toon will have to make this season and it is apparent the news has not gone down well with these fans at all.
