A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest transfer claim to emerge regarding the Tyneside club.
According to Calciomercato, the Toon’s Allan Saint-Maximin is drawing in interest from Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool, with both clubs considering a move next year.
Would you be open to selling ASM?
Yes
No
The report also suggests Everton could be one of the clubs to come in for the Frenchman in one of the upcoming transfer windows following his impressive start to the campaign.
Toon fans flocked to a tweet from Sky Sports relaying the claims coming out of Italy to share their frustrations in the idea of potentially losing their 24-year-old winger.
What did these Toon fans have to say?
“That’s ASM gone then was fun whilst it lasted! #NUFC“
The 24-year-old has made a bright start to the season with two goals and three assists in the six appearances he has made in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt).
With the Tyneside club currently in the middle of their CAT hearing, it seems the Saint-Maximin rumours has done nothing to brighten their moods.
