A whole host of Leeds United fans are in awe on Twitter with Mateusz Bogusz goal for UD Ibiza.
Bogusz was not seen to be part of the first-team plans for this season, so was sent out on loan to UD Ibiza, where he has flourished in the early stages of the season with three goals and an assist in six appearances in the league following his latest runout at the weekend.
Will Rodrigo come good at Leeds?
Yes
No
Given Leeds’ injury issues of late, Marcelo Bielsa may be wishing he had Bogusz to call upon, even if only off the bench, especially after seeing his most recent goal for the second-tier side, which was a long-range effort smashed into the top corner.
A lot of Leeds fans are buzzing on Twitter with Bogusz’s latest goal after footage was shared online.
What have these Leeds fans been saying?
“Are you watching, Bielsa?”
“Bogusz smashing it in Spain”
“New Klich?”
“Better than Roberts – can we have him back”
“He’s great”
“Incredible. Si will be delighted.”
“This lad is special”
It appears that Bogusz enjoys playing his football out in Spain, as last season he was on loan with UD Logrones and has taken to life in the Spanish second tier fantastically.
The midfielder was signed back in 2019 from Polish outfit Ruch Chorzow for £90,000 and has already made his debut in both the Carabao Cup and Championship, but clearly, Bielsa feels like his time is now better spent out on loan instead of with the first team.
