A whole host of Leeds United fans appear to be buzzing on Twitter over a claim involving Crysencio Summerville.

Summerville joined Leeds’ Under-23s last summer from Feyenoord’s Under-19 side, and having yet to make his competitive debut for the first team, he was named on the bench for the Whites’ 1-1 draw away to Burnley last weekend.

Even though he’s never featured for Marcelo Bielsa’s senior side, that had not deterred clubs lower down the footballing pyramid and abroad in attempting to swoop for the winger, as journalist Pete O’Rourke claims that ‘Swansea, Club Brugge and Dutch Eredivisie duo Groningen and Heerenveen’ all asked to sign the player on loan during the transfer window.

O’Rourke also claimed that Summerville ‘is now part of Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team plans’.

A lot of Leeds fans are buzzing on Twitter that Summerville could be set for more opportunities at Elland Road.

Who was Bielsa's first competitive game as Leeds manager against?

The winger has certainly impressed during his time in the Under-23s, having featured 16 times while managing to score seven goals and register seven assists, so it’s no surprise that clubs were interested in him and that Bielsa wants him in and around the first team.
