Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest news to emerge concerning the Yorkshire club’s upcoming Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

This comes after Leeds journalist Graham Smyth shared a post relaying an update from the club revealing that there have been a total of 5,200 tickets have been allocated for the travelling Leeds fans for the clash in October.

Leeds fans had an allocation of 8,000 for their previous trip to north London back in January 2020.

First up in this 2020/21 LUFC quiz, which of these players did NOT score against Liverpool in the 4-3 defeat at Anfield?

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds supporters who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the matter.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this news about the ticket allocation for the Arsenal match?

“Appalling. Leeds should get thrice that.”

@AreMatta

Embarrassing @Arsenal just embarrassing.”

@BradbourneJonny

“Not enough”

@dayvid58

“That is a derisory amount imho”

@ChanniPatel

“Pathetic.”

@montyoxymoron

Absolute joke reducing allocation give us it all @Arsenal

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems as though these Leeds fans are not happy with the number of tickets that have been allocated for their match against Arsenal.

Given how it has since been revealed that Arsenal Football Club’s Safety Team have advised that due to persistent standing during Leeds’ last match with supporters in January 2020 at the Emirates, it’s easy to see why these responding fans think they have been unfairly punished, in our view.

Moving forward, if more away tickets aren’t allocated before the match, the Leeds fans will have to make do with what they already have and make sure they fully get behind the team when they face the north London club.
