As well as a number of senior players who were already out through respective injuries including the likes of Luke Ayling and Diego Llorente, Patrick Bamford is also set to miss the clash at Craven Cottage following a knock he picked up against Newcastle United on Friday.

Leeds fans flocked to Hay’s tweet as he provided the latest injury update as they showed their worries ahead of the clash against Marco Silva’s Cottagers.

What exactly did these Leeds fans have to say?

“Haha Spain without the S”

“One injury-free season is all I ask for…”
“Praying that Bamford one is just a small knock and nothing serious”
“All our players are made of glass, the slightest knock and they’re out for 2 weeks. Is this the type of player we want?!”
“Will be another loss, this”
“There aren’t many clubs with a waiting list to see the physio.”

On top of the injuries within the Leeds squad, Pascal Struijk will be serving the second of his three-game ban following his red card against Liverpool at Elland Road.

With a clash against West Ham United at the weekend coming up, it seems these fans will be hoping some of the stars listed by Hay will be back in time for the game at Elland Road.
