Sky Sports journalist Charlotte Marsh has been sharing her thoughts on Crystal Palace loan man Conor Gallagher and his future.

This comes after Marsh made an appearance on a recent edition of The Sky Sports Football Podcast where she spoke about a variety of topics concerning numerous clubs across the Premier League.

During the episode, Marsh was asked to name one player that has stood out to her so far this season.

In response, the journalist had this to say about Gallagher, in particular. (46.59)

She said: “He is such an incredible player and I think, as ever, with these young players, I’m not sure he has a huge future at Chelsea, especially if they keep buying these big-money players.

“So, I think a move to another team in the Premier League, maybe in January, maybe in the summer, would be best for him, but he continues to impress me every time I watch him.”

TIF Thoughts on Charlotte Marsh’s comments on Gallagher and his future…

During his career, the 21-year-old, who is currently valued at £13.5 million according to Transfermarkt, has spent loan spells at clubs such as Charlton Athletic, Swansea City, West Bromwich Albion and now Palace.

Since joining Patrick Vieira’s side on a loan deal from Chelsea’s U23 side until the end of the season, Gallagher has managed to score two goals and provide one assist in the three Premier League games he’s played in for the Eagles so far this season.

Taking this into account, it’s easy to see why Marsh has been so impressed with the midfielder.

Would you like to see Palace sign Gallagher on a permanent deal?

No

In terms of a potential permanent move away from Chelsea in the future, we feel that if Gallagher continues to impress throughout his time at Selhurst Park and isn’t likely to get regular playing time at Chelsea, then Palace should definitely consider signing the midfielder on a permanent deal if the opportunity arises at some point in the future.
