They have been linked with Wilder, too, with the former Sheffield United boss having been out of work since his exit from the Blades last season.

Wilder, of course, took the club out of the and into the League, masterminding an amazing top-half finish in his first season in the top-flight.

Wilder has also managed Alfreton Town, Halifax Town, Oxford United and Northampton Town.
