A whole host of Derby County fans are loving the latest video their club has posted on Twitter of keeper Ryan Allsop.

The Rams have had a tough time of it in recent weeks with the club entering administration and being deducted 12 points, which has seen them slip to the foot of the Championship table, while they are now facing a further nine points being docked in the near future.

On the pitch though, it’s been a very different story, with Wayne Rooney managing to only lose three times in the league so far despite their troubles over the summer in terms of only being able to afford a few free agents, and another positive was the performance of Allsop, who featured in the Rams’ 1-0 win against Reading in midweek and he pulled off some top-drawer saves.

A lot of Derby fans on Twitter were loving the Allsop footage after the club shared them online.

What have these Derby fans been saying?

“Class last night he was”

@NathanJordan85

“Great performance”

@ben_gwilliam

“Safe hands, great distribution and a calming presence. Bailed Curt out massively, thought it was a nailed-on goal. Can’t drop him now”

@RichardCusackBM

“I’ll be the first to admit that I was not convinced by what I’ve seen from him since he’s signed, but he was superb last night”

@AdKempy

“What a player”

@dcfcKyle

“Our No.1”

@DcfcFansTalk

Allsop was signed from Wycombe Wanderers in the summer on a free transfer, and the victory against Reading was his first start for the Rams – which only came about because regular No 1 Kelle Roos was sent off in the previous match against Sheffield United.

An easy one to kick off our quiz on the 2020 summer transfer window in the EFL, which player left Birmingham City to join Borussia Dortmund?

Despite all the noise away from the pitch, Derby have a solid foundation to build upon as they are not conceding many goals and are not getting blown away by teams, plus they have also racked up four clean sheets in the Championship already.
