A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts at Dele Alli’s display in the first half of their game against Manchester City.
The 25-year-old has played a prominent role in Nuno Espirito Santo’s pre-season for Spurs and earned himself a start in the midfield on Sunday afternoon.
Dele was able to find the back of the net in the friendly game against his former club, MK Dons, as well as the game against Colchester United last month.
However, these Spurs fans were not left too impressed by the Englishman following his display in the first 45 minutes against Pep Guardiola’s men.

The Tottenham man’s future has been under speculation over the course of the last year with game time at a premium for the 25-year-old last season under Jose Mourinho (via Transfermarkt).
However, having started against the reigning champions, these fans were left far from impressed by what they had saw in the opening 45 minutes from their midfielder.
