Sheffield Wednesday fans have been reacting to news of a new signing that the club have made in the form of Dutch forward Sylla Sow.
The Owls have certainly been busy this summer transfer window, bringing in a rather large number of players as they look to bounce back to the Championship following their relegation at the end of 2020/21.
The 25-year-old, who can play anywhere across the front three, comes to the club on a free transfer, subject to international clearance, after a season in which he scored three goals and registered two assists for RKC Waalwijk. While they are not exactly the greatest of numbers, given the situation that the Owls are in, it’s almost a case of taking what they can get.
The club announced his arrival last night with a film of him taking in the surroundings of Hillsborough, and it’s fair to say that there was a lot of happy Owls fans when they saw the news:
“Getting silly now isn’t it. What a club.”
Will Sheffield Wednesday come back up?
Let’s just see if his form in England is better than in the Netherlands, because Sheffield Wednesday are certainly going to need it to be in order to help get them out of the division.
