Celtic fans have been reacting to footage of young Owen Moffat after footage emerged of him for the club’s B team.
The reserves continued their Scottish Lowland League campaign last night with a 2-0 win over Berwick Rangers at the Penny Cars Stadium, with goals from Rocco Vata and Adam Brooks sealing the three points for Tommy McIntyre’s side.
The club posted footage of the game’s opener from Vata on their social media page, in which the Irishman fired in off the crossbar, but it wasn’t the goal that got most people talking, as they were more concerned with the pass that 19-year-old Moffat played to give him the opportunity.
Are you feeling more confident about Celtic's squad now?
Yes
No
It certainly left a number of the supporters impressed when they saw it and they couldn’t contain their excitement as they took to social media, with some hinting that there might be big things to come for him down the line:
“The ball from Moffat’s ridiculously good”
Let’s see if Ange Postecoglou is paying as much attention to him as these supporters are, and hopefully a place in the first team might not be too far away.
