A whole host of Celtic fans are annoyed on Twitter following Alan Nixon’s update on the future of Odsonne Edouard.
This summer has seen Edouard linked with several Premier League clubs such as Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Brighton, but Nixon has reported that Russian side Rubin Kazan have lodged a £15.4 million bid for the striker.

Considering how well new signing Kyogo Furuhashi has taken to life at Celtic having already scored seven goals in eight games for the Bhoys, the thought of losing Edouard may not be as bad as initially thought.

With Celtic looking to regain the SPFL title from their city rivals Rangers after finishing an embarrassing 25 points behind the Gers, selling one of their top players would be a risky move, especially for a relatively low fee as they will owe Paris Saint-Germain money due to their 50% sell-on clause.
If the Bhoys can keep Edouard until next summer, win the league and have a chance of getting Champions League football, losing him on a free may not be as bad of an idea instead of losing him for cheap this window and potentially not bringing in a suitable replacement.
