Celtic fans have been reacting to the performance of Nir Bitton during the club’s match against Jablonec in the Europa League.
Celtic managed to race into an early lead through Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi in the first half but faced a nervy second half thanks to a goal from Vaclav Pilar.
After being knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers last week, getting off to a good start in the first leg would be crucial for them to salvage themselves a place in the Europa League, with a spot in the Europa Conference League awaiting the losers.
However, one player who didn’t seem to be pulling his weight throughout the affair was the central defender. With the home side managing to carve out a number of chances throughout the second half, the Israeli came in for a lot of criticism for his apparent lack of defensive effort:
