Celtic have been reacting to the performance of Greg Taylor during the club’s game against Jablonec in the Europa League.

Having been knocked out of the Champions League by FC Midtjylland last week, the Bhoys will be hoping for a decent performance tonight to at least give them some hope of being able to stay in the competition – or they would face demotion to the newly formed Europa Conference League should they fail to progress against the Czech side.

And even though Celtic managed to race into an early lead through Liel Abada and Kyogo Furuhashi, one player who didn’t seem to be helping matters for Ange Postecoglou’s men, at least according to the watching at home, was the 23-year-old left-back.

Despite playing a part in the opening goal, his efforts at the back came in for some rather harsh comments from the online:

“6 minutes in and I hate Greg Taylor already”

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Greg Taylor sprinting back. only ever walking”
“Greg Taylor is godawful”
“I blame Greg Taylor”
“Honestly hate Greg Taylor. Abysmal player”
“And why the hell does Greg Taylor look shattered already??”

Hopefully, he’ll be able to pick up his performance as the game progresses to give Celtic the best chance of making it through the tie.
