Celtic fans have been reacting to the performance of Greg during the first leg of their Europa League qualifier against AZ Alkmaar.

Celtic got off to a perfect start in the game, taking the lead through Kyogo Furuhashi inside the opening 15 minutes and went into the half holding on to that lead against the side.

However, it wasn’t totally plain sailing for Ange Postecoglou’s men throughout the game, with not every man seemingly playing to the best of their abilities.

The 23-year-old left-back was one of the players who came in for criticism from the fans, with some seemingly not happy with him being unable to do some of the basic things as a footballer:

“Greg Taylor’s failure to do the simple things will cost us”

“Solid first half tbh, Greg having a shocker but Kyogo n Rogic have been magic so far keemon the tic”
“Hard watch Greg trying to play football”
“Greg is the worst player left in the competition”
“Greg is horrendous”
“Greg is a disaster waiting to happen man”
“How many times has Greg given the ball away”

Is Greg good enough for Celtic?

The tie holds a lot of importance, with victory over two legs ensuring the club don’t have to drop into the newly formed Europa League, so hopefully he won’t perform like this in the second leg and possibly put qualification at stake.
