A number of Celtic fans have been showering their love upon Kyogo Furuhashi after a piece of footage from their recent game emerged online.

Earlier this week, Celtic beat AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of a Europa League play-off, thanks to goals from Furuhashi and James Forrest.

Forrest scored in the 61st minute to make it 2-0 to the Bhoys and but his teammate’s reaction to the crucial moment has caught the eye of a number of Celtic fans.

Indeed, a video has been doing the rounds on social media, which shows Furuhashi celebrating with pure joy as the club netted their second of the evening.

Everything Celtic shared the clip on its Twitter page and plenty of fans soon showed their appreciation for the star’s charming reaction.

Here’s what these Celtic fans said…

Protect him at all costs. He’s too pure for this world.

“Wee guys having the time of his life… Great to see!”
“I honestly love this wee soul.”
“Love this man with all my heart.”
“So happy we got this wee cute man from Japan.”

It’s clear to see just how much these fans love the Japanese international. And with the new man averaging a goal per game in Scotland – with six in six – why wouldn’t they?

Celtic face St. Mirren this weekend in the league, and there seems to be little doubt their supporters will be hoping to see more celebrations from Furuhashi.
