Celtic fans have been reacting to the performance of Kyogo Furuhashi during their Europa League qualifying game against FK Jablonec.
Ange Postecoglou’s men came into the game with a somewhat comfortable lead in the tie having won the first leg 4-2 away from home, but with away goals not counting for anything in this year’s competition, that didn’t mean that Celtic were home and dry as the game kicked off.
However, the chances of any potential slip-up were brushed aside as two goals from David Turnbull and one from James Forrest saw the Bhoys sail through into the next round of the competition – but one player who stood out was the Japanese summer signing.
The 26-year-old has already got off to a blistering start at Celtic Park with four goals already to his name, and although he wasn’t on the scoresheet last night, that didn’t stop the fans from singing his praises online for his display against the Czech side:
“Kyogo Furuhashi – his work rate and determination is going to make him a HUGE success for Celtic, what a talent”
Hopefully, he’ll be able to carry on these performances into the next round of the competition and their league campaign as they look to wrestle the title back from Rangers after a disappointing title defence last season.
