A number of Celtic supporters have taken to social media to react to summer signing Kyogo Furuhashi’s recent social update ahead of their Europa League match with FK Jablonec.

Furuhashi signed a four-year deal with the Bhoys back in July, having previously played his football alongside former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta.

It had been previously reported by the Daily Record that Iniesta had a role to play in convincing Furuhashi to move to Celtic, which will be pleasing to see for the Celtic Park faithful.

It was a frustrating evening for Ange Postecoglou’s side in their most recent match, as they were beaten 2-1 by newly promoted Hearts on the opening weekend of fixtures in the Scottish Premiership.

To say it’s been the start that the newly appointed Celtic boss would have hoped for would be an understatement, with the Scottish side also exiting their Champions League qualifying campaign early on after a 3-2 defeat on aggregate to Danish side FC Midtjylland.

Furuhashi took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to issue a one-word message on his feelings ahead of their next match against Czech side FK Jablonec in the third round of Europa League qualifying, which included some pictures of the Japan international enjoying himself in training.

Furuhashi made his debut for Celtic as a second-half substitute against Hearts, although his efforts weren’t enough to see them have any points to show on the day.

Plenty of Celtic supporters took to social media to react to Furuhashi’s recent one-word update, and it’s safe to say they were pleased to see him in good spirits.

It seems that despite a disastrous start to the season, their recent signing is not showing any signs of regret just yet – and that these fans are just as happy to have him at the club.
