Celtic fans on Twitter have been reacting to recently posted footage of Kyogo Furuhashi’s goal for the Parkhead side during their recent 2-0 win over AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of their Europa League play-offs.
This comes after the official Celtic Twitter account shared a post that contained the footage of Furuhashi’s latest goal for Ange Postecoglou’s side where he volleyed the ball past the AZ goalkeeper from a Tom Rogic cross into the box.
This post then quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of Hoops supporters who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the player and his latest goal for the club.
So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to this footage of Furuhashi’s goal against Alkmaar?
“Enjoy it whilst he’s here, Kyogo is going places”
“Can’t see enough of this goal absolutely class #hailhail“
“What a player Kyogo is already a star HH”
“Most exciting player we have had in years HH @Kyogo_Furuhashi“
Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Celtic fans were delighted with Furuhashi’s goal in midweek and are very impressed with him on the whole since he arrived at the club earlier in the summer.
Has Kyogo Furuhashi been Celtic's best player so far this season?
Given how the 26-year-old has managed to score six goals in the six appearances he’s made for Postecoglou’s team so far this season, it’s understandable why these Celtic fans are so happy with him.
In our view, if the striker can keep up this excellent run of goalscoring form throughout the rest of the season, he will undoubtedly be one of their most important players and prove just why the club chose to bring him in.
